SVC is proud to announce the release of our new high performance tune specifically designed for the die hard Raptor owner. Below will give you a good background and understanding of why we choose to come up with our own tune, instead of just reselling whats already on the market.

With just a "tune" it is impossible to truly gain the power numbers claimed by most aftermarket companies. Most aftermarket “tuners” turn off switches such as catalyst, oxygen sensor and cylinder head temperature protection, which will prevent the PCM from richening the Air/Fuel ratio to protect these components, which can result in more power under certain conditions. Unfortunately, your truck lives and drives in the real world, Temperatures rise quickly when pounding your Raptor in the dirt. Tires spin freely, rpm's raise quickly and reliability is a must. When certain safe guard systems are turned off, you run the risk of shortening the durability of these components, which can result in the “check engine light” coming on, as well as a shortened life span of the catalytic converters with a possibility of catastrophic engine failure. Aftermarket “tuners” often advance spark timing to potentially unsafe levels, which will cause damaging spark knock or pre-ignition, which once again can potentially cause massive engine failure. With the SVC Performance Tune, this will NOT happen.

Understanding the (MAF)

The Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor is the most critical parameter to have correct when calibrating newer PCM’s. The MAF sensor is the first point where air enters the engine and every calculation the PCM commands will depend on that input being an actual and real measurement (load, idle, part throttle, WOT, air/fuel ratio, timing, torque calculations, automatic transmission shift points etc. all depend on it), and if you don't get the MAF correct, your really not getting the most out of your tune.

Why you should choose The SVC Performance Tune?

Most “tuners” were taught to adjust the Air/Fuel ratio by moving the MAF transfer curve in the “tune”, this will change the A/F ratio, however it proves many tuners may not fully understand how a mass air system works. Everyone of the SVC Performance Tunes MAF transfer functions are flown at a professional flow bench, which is the same procedure taken by OEM manufacturers. This ensures no matter what the altitude or weather is, the vehicle will produce the same air/fuel ratio as commanded in the PCM, just like the factory intended. When timing can be increased, the PCM will tell it so. When it needs to be pulled back because of bad gas or excessive intake temps, the PCM will tell it so. Bottom line, with the SVC Performance Tune you will feel the power, but also have the piece of mind knowing proper steps were taken to keep the safe guards that should always remain in place.

The SVC Performance Tune automatic transmission calibration improves slip times, quicker downshifts and shift schedules to give the transmission a more performance-oriented feel, yet still ensures the durability of the transmission over the long term abuse your Raptor will see mile-after-dirty-mile. Typical Aftermarket “tuners” tend to increase shift pressure to get the same performance-oriented feel, plus spin the engine hundreds of RPM's beyond peak power realization. This typically leads to high clutch and band temperatures resulting in premature transmission failure, jerky or harsh shifts and an overall uncomfortable feeling that your tranny is slamming into gear.

Feel the SVC Performance Tune Difference.

At SVC, we are very hard on our trucks. We push them and our components to the extreme to see just exactly how much they can take. However, we don't screw around with our engines. If a shock blows, no big deal. If a spring shackle breaks, simple. But an engine blowing, not acceptable. We have spent months now testing this tune in the harshest environments under the most extreme off-road conditions you can throw at a Raptor. The drivability is amazing. The shifting feels crisp, throttle response is precise and the 3rd gear pull feels oh-so-good!

If you ready to make the switch, or step up to a tune for the first time, we promise the results will speak for themselves.

Can I buyDownload just the tune if I already have an SCT tuner??

Yes sir,

We just need to know what mods you have, specifically the CAI if you have one.

Also, if anyone is willing to lend us their Volant or AFE intake, we will write you the custom tune for free. You would only need to purchase the hand held unless you already have one. Basically we need to put those two intakes on the flow-bench to create a proper tune based off of the MAF housing size.

Thanks

Jarrett

More information, please. What is effect on cylinder head temperature, exhaust gas temperature, fuel mileage, and other "real world" parameters? Please also provide a fuel/air ratio plot superimposed over the bhp/Ft-lb curves.
Thanks!
