Ya i couldn't remember though. Damn, I would have bought it if it was a 5.4

Got your PM. I took a few pics so I am freakin post them anyway! HAhahaaaa. To damn bad the intake runner is to different to work on the 5.4.

Just because, the ID of the intake tube is 4 Inches. The Runner is about 18 inches long.

Its all good. I found a place to order a full K&N for $218 for the 5.4 free shipping.

WHALE SHIT! Thats a deal. Oh well. I like looking at mine hangin on the wall. Maybe I will use it when I win the 5 star tuner next week in the giveaway......

I have never used a tuner. Is this something the average Joe can do with basic tools?

Any caveman can install the tuner all you have to do is be able to follow directions. If you purchase the airfilter set-up elsewhere just make sure to let 5star know you have that mod. Bdrags air filter set up is a good one like I said most of them are about the same as far as performance is concerned.

Avalanche, what brand do you recommend for me when I am ready?

My .02... Just about all CAI's will get the job done... Do a little research on the different ones. Threre's only about 5-10 out there.

I went with the airaid on a rec from Ruger here on the forum. I love it. I'm getting just under a mpg better mileage over stock, with none of the hesitation.

There's a thread under this section on "airaid install for 6.2" started by Ruger that was helpful for me...
