We were fortunate to be invited by Mad Media and The Mint 400 out to the race. They were even kind enough to set us up with VIP parking and passes to the VIP viewing area. Complete with open bar and food.
Friday was contigency on Fremont Street. It was awesome seeing all the race trucks and vendors. So much eye candy!
Saturday we woke up early and met outside of Vegas for Mash-It to the Mint. Our typical runs are around 150-200 miles but this one would be a short 60 miles. Icon set all the drivers up with these bad ass tool bags
There would be no shortage of adventure though! Within the first 10 miles we had someone put a whole in their valve cover, exhaust fall off, and lost lower control arm nut. Fortunately, we are always prepared and took care of business.
Rolling into the Mint 400 will go down as one of the coolest experiences. We were ushered up to the front area where the Ford Semi trailers were parked. From their were all directed to park by a young girl who seemed rather excited to see us. Her words exactly, “I have a 12 inch lady ***** right now. All these Raptors...I love them. Oh, and they keep coming.” From there the trucks grabbed all the attention as the crowd continued to check them out throughout the day. Thanks to everyone who came out to make this a truly special event for EXO.
