where did you mount your tank and compressor. I just picked up a kit when my friend traded in his raptor. He had his tank behind the grill which is not an option for me since I have lights and am installing a winch later. I have already looked at the threads on here, just looking for options that may not have been posted. Soooo. Where to put the compressor and tank? I think the horns will go on the skid plate. I wasn't even going to install them, but decided to go ahead since I have them. thanks for the info in advance.

I mounted my compressor and tank in the bed. Then when I got the XRD bed rack I mounted it to that. Keeps everything out of the elements a little bit and was an easy install. Sheared the bolts off the tank at havoc though. Only thing keeping it in was the air line.

What size tank is it?

What about putting the compressor in the bed, drivers front corner, behind the bed rug? Or does it need more air circulation than that?

I had mine up in the skid plate area. However when i got rid of the stock bumper I moved it to the rear underneath the bed just forward of the hitch. Its actually much louder now and you cant hear the compressor kicking on anymore.
