Bent crossmember?

After recontouring both my skid plates and cross members I thought it was time for some changes. Starting with a new LGE-CTS front bumper and skid plate.

Then I built a pair of chrome molly cross members.

Then I topped them off with a set of custom 1/4" 6061-T6 skid plates.

Oh yeah and a place for spares and refreshments.

Oh BTW Sara, Teresa and Louis at LGE-CTS are the best. Very helpful.

Haha this is Danactive's crossbeam. I'm sure he will want some details on those extra skid plates. That's all he talks about now a days.

Jones built the bed rack. I have one too.

If you have the really loud bang under hard acceleration and wheel travel its due to the bent trans skid.

Talking with Jones. When the cross member bends so do the mounts. It takes a combination of adjusting the mounts and custom fab on the new cross member to make it right.

I'm looking forward to my new cross members and Baja jones skids on my new truck.

I had to use a porta-power to unfold the rear cross member just to get a socket on the trany mount nuts. The picture is of the part after I straightened it so I could get some measurements. The center was back approx. 1.5". Ya like Treypal says no more trany slam on the tunnel.

I bent up my xmember in Baja pretty good last week. Does anyone have a part number for a stock replacement or is there is good aftermarket version available? Not having any luck finding either searching the web.
