I'm not sure how I missed that...I thought I'd read through the entire thread when I subscribed to it a couple years ago. I must not have, though. Anyway, I do have an MPT tune, so that must be why VDM isn't there. When I get a chance, I'll take it back to stock, run the VDM calibration...
Well, I broke down and bought a new adapter, and I'm still having the same problem. I've tried it with the truck running, and without the truck running but just having the ignition on. VDM doesn't show up in any of the screens (upon first connection, or on the 'Tests' screen, or in the 'Select...
I just realized that I never downloaded a license for ForScan on this new computer, so I was hoping that might have been the problem as to why VDM wasn't showing up in the list of modules. Went ahead and downloaded the license, loaded the key, etc, and....still nothing. Here's a screenshot...
I attempted to do the recalibration today with ForScan V2.3.51, but I'm not seeing 'VDM' in the list of modules on the 'Select PIDs dialog' screen. Here are some possible reasons I'm thinking it's not being displayed:
This is the first time I've connected my OBDII reader to my new (Windows 11)...
So the software update means we’ll no longer be able to open the tailgate at all if the truck is running? I realize that eliminates the problem, but it seems more of a bandage than an actual fix. I’d still like to be able to open the tailgate while the truck is running (especially if I’m...
Assuming the truck was parked in your path, and you came across it at night, yes, it seems that your lights were sufficiently bright enough that you were able to see the truck before you crashed into it. Other than that, there's no way to tell from a picture how bright anything in the picture...
Yeah, I'm guessing/hoping there's some sort of plug/harness inside the mirror that I can disconnect that will allow me to get the LED signal (which I'm hoping is just 12VDC). I could then see about adding another LED similar to what they did. I would just temporarily attach it at first, to see...
Anyone (@FordTechOne, maybe?) have any ideas if I can just disconnect the existing LED and replace it with a different one that could be mounted in a different location? Or would that screw with some other signal, etc?
Just a data point...when I dropped off the truck, they said they wouldn't need to pull the body. Everything went smoothly, and they finished in 3-4 days. It sounds SO much better now!
I just got mine back from the dealership after having the work for FSA 21N03 done. Took them 3 or 4 days, but I've been waiting for 10 months for them to get me in for the work. They replaced the phasers (and misc associated gaskets, bolts, seals, etc), refilled the anti-freeze and oil, and...
I've noticed that if I just give a quick glance to my mirror, especially during a bright day, or when driving at night and there's a lot of additional traffic around, that it's hard to immediately tell that my BLIS LED is on. It's not that it's broken, or that it doesn't work as well as it used...
