If Ford released the bulletin about it, i don't think you should have any issues at the dealer. It's obviously a known issue. I have yet to take mine to the dealer but i have to have it fixed on my truck too. It seems pretty widespread

it’s not a recall. Ford released a bulletin called the “Enhanced PDI” Basically check the corners of the appliqué and see if they are not stuck down to the tailgate. It will be noticeable

I have trim pieces that are scratched from assembly and a gouge in my air bag cover. I should of had the dealer document it when i bought the truck, now i think Ford will just say i caused it

No spray-in liner. I honestly don't haul anything on the regular and when i do, its nothing crazy

I would assume there are holes in the tailgate to align pins/tabs in the applique but i cant speak for certain. i have never seen one off of a truck in person

definitely peeling away and when i press it back down there is no tackiness left on the tape they use to attach it. It's not bad and hardly noticeable unless you are right up on it It's not as bad as Toadsmashers or the picture in the Enhanced PDI document
