Vertical Tire - Quick Release Bed Rack System.



This compact design, vertical dual spare tire rack has all of the necessary features any off road enthusiast will need. The rack is made of 1-3/4” and 1-1/2” DOM and is covered with durable Line X to prevent scratches and wear marks. The quick 4 pin system makes for easy removal in seconds. “ Just pull the pins and pull up” The rack is designed for the use of 35” or 37” tall tires and features “Roll in, Roll out” tire carriers. The tires sit vertically and fasten down by 2” ratchet straps. The inner mounting system of the rack allows for you to securely hold a 5 gallon gas can and an 8 gallon Action Packer tote for tool and gear storage. The gas can and tote are fastened down by a custom made 1” “Y” strap. Underneath the tote, a Craftsman 2 ton aluminum race jack is mounted on a quick release pull pin mount for easy access when needed.

The rack itself sits below the bed line, making it possible to have a removable bed cover installed even with the rack installed. The rack can also be used to secure motorcycles down.

on a side note, about about that rear bumper on Mam's build? When are we getting details on that bad boy?

I like the design. I am assuming I could mount this right behind a toolbox I have in my truck. Thoughts??

Not sure, because it looks as though it uses the bed bolts on the bed that are there already, which would probably sit under your bedbox.

So if i am looking at this correctly, you unbolt the bed bolt nearest your cab, insert the bolt through the receiver with the hole in the bottom (pictured) and then bolt the bolt back down, this is out it quick connects to your truck/bed. and that bed bolt is more then likely under your bedbox.

doesn't mean you couldn't place new bolts in the bed to add this with your bedbox, it would just require you drilling new holes in your bed.

We can build a rack that also works for bed boxes. We have a few requests for them here locally. The rack mounts down to the four front existing bed bolts so no fab work is necessary.

What ratchet straps are those?
