I was honestly expecting it from reading all over various forums that Rigid had so many water problems. Everyone said it was fixed - well its not. I bought the 40", 20" and the Dually Fogs and installed them last Thursday. Yesterday afternoon, one of my amber flood fogs was full of water and about 10 shades of a different color orange than the other light.

Yeah, I know call them and they will fix it. Thats not the point. To spend $2500 on these lights and them last a week and it not be just a random problem I think is a little bit of a joke. The 20" they sent me was DOA and had to be sent back right off the bat. Looks like to me Rigid gets about a 3 out of 10 on quality at this point.

Not happy.:Grenade:

I'd be pissed too, that is BS and the % of issues lately is very concerning. Sorry man.

Your right, its great to have wonderful customer service, but for $2,500 you should not need them for years...not a week later!

I was getting ready to pull the triggernon some of those lights, but after all the negative thing I've been reading I'm looking elsewhere.

I would look at the Vision X lights. I've read up on them AFTER I bought my Rigids and I havent seen any quality issues with them. The Rigids are definitely hit or miss.

For that kind of money, these issues should not be happening. I would be livid if I spent $1500+ on a light bar and then it turned into a fish tank.

I guess you could just get a beta fish and set him free inside there and have a nice conversation piece? :ROFLJest:

Been holding my breath since I bought my Rigid 40" after reading the water intrusion problems. No issues yet but that's probably because I'm careful not to get them wet.

Sounds like they are having quality issues. Pretty weak that they can't figure out how to seal up a light housing... At least they have good customer service support.

Well, I just received my third full set of duallys from Rigid's customer support ... and all within 45 days of buying and installing my very first set for around $450. You may have seen my other posts about each of the failures. Skyler from Rigid has been doing his best to help me out and said he personally soaked each of the lights most recently sent in a water tank for a few hours. He mentioned a couple different manufacturing changes that has been causing the leaks and he feels confident they are resolved... Only time will tell. The good news is that I know these guys really care about their products and are working hard to resolve them. I'll report back after I get this latest set installed and run them for a while.. anything over a week without failures will be an improvement.

I dont really understand the discoloration though???? Anyone else have amber lights that flooded? They originally matched the LED markers on the front perfect but as they got wet they changed to more of a dark red/amber color. Weird.

It doesn't seem like a day goes by without someone complaining about their Rigid LEDs having moisture issues but all say they have great customer service. Well they friggin better have great customer service if you are going to sell lights for such a high price with such poor quality. You would think by now the quality would not be an issue, but some folks continuously keep having them replace their lights over and over. You need start demanding your money back, and maybe then they will fix their quality issues or they will eventually become a figment of our imagination.
Other words, their customer service should be like a Maytag repairman, they should be bored off their asses and fighting to answer the phone when and if it ever rings. My $.02.
