Quick question: What size torx...

...is the OEM bed extender? 55 is too big, 40 is too small. 45? 50?

Also I assume removing the center bolt on either side frees the extender for removal? There's nothing else to worry about?

It is 50 torx.. I had to go check... I had to buy one to remove tailgate extender when I installed bedrug.

Since we're taking torx sizes, how can the torx size be determined apart from a guess plus trial and error. (I don't have any torx drivers apart from a few I have purchased to remove or replace a needed auto part)

Just to confirm, the removal of the bed extender is simple, right? Just the two Torx bolts? Nothing crazy like having to remove some sort of backing, etc. Remove the two bolts and it comes right out, put it back in by putting the two bolts back (T50 Torx).

I'm going to be pulling mine out to try out this bed tent I bought.
