Hey guys, Method's new 105 true beadlocks look sick:

i like the look better than the NV's, which seem a bit stringier:

my question is, how much heavier are the beadlocks? no info on the method site...

showerfan - I believe they look identical to one another when you compare two wheels of the same size and lug pattern. The 105 you posted is 5-lug, so clearly not a Raptor wheel. The Method site just uses generic photos of each.

If that is true, I'll go with whichever is lighter! Thanks for the info.

Then again... The 105 may be a better quality wheel -- the hardware and the center cap.

Maybe I should just bite the bullet and buy the forged beadlocks!

I doubt that there is a big differanc in weight. The bolts are grade 8 hardware on the beadlocks where the bolts on the NV's are just decorative. If you plan on offroading a lot and plan to air down, then you could justify the higher cost of the beadlocks. If you don't go offroading then the NV's may be the better choice.

I will be snowballing for sure, and probably mudding too. Not sure how much I'll need to air down. But weight is a big concern, as sprung weight is so key.

lol so much opinion in this thread. They are beefier regardless of the lug pattern. And they are 3lbs heavier than the standard NV.

They are super beefy. But I think I'll just run the standard BFG's on them, because the Toyo's weigh a ton.
