2012 Gen1 with 157K miles and rides like a dream compared to any 3/4 ton truck I have owned in the past. Great for these lighter loads but we'll need a bigger rig for heavy trailers.
I had the Fuse 27 relocation kit in my center console for 3 years. Never did find the time to replace it. Finally, it blew out last month. Replaced it in 30 minutes and we were off to swim class on time with the kiddo.
I was very lucky to be at home and had a relocation kit on hand. I...
Appreciate the suggestion, however, I was hoping for a free swap between our two trucks. Not sure I want to get into all of that. We'll be upgrading trucks soon anyhow.
I did consider that, but I was hoping for essentially a free swap. What's the point of having two Raptors if you can't switch outfits every now and then?
Morimoto Tech Support states that yes, you can use their conversion kit to install the 2013 lights into the 2012. Unfortunately, you cannot install the 2012 lights into the 2013 and we can't leave that one without headlights...
Two for Two No's on a Monday. Should've started a thread on Tuesday...
I have nobody to blame but myself. I should've started with two 2013 Raptors and I wouldn't be in this mess.
My wife’s 2013 Raptor that she hardly ever drives has Apple Car Play. I plan on stealing it from her truck and installing it on my 2012. Can this be done pretty easily?
We have two First Gens in the household (his/hers). My 2012 is my daily driver and her 2013 is her antique shopper truck. I went to swap the headlights from the 2013 to the 2012 because they’re much better (upgraded I’m sure) and found it was not a clear swap. The headlights and bolt placement...
Looking for two items:
a) Open to either a stock Gen 1 front bumper or an aftermarket bumper.
b) Set of stock Gen 1 Wheels with Tires. Also open to Gen 2 wheels and tires in addition to aftermarket wheels and tires.
Mostly looking a deal as this is going to be a budget conscious build. I...
Sorry, I was busy driving my easy to start no more dead battery Raptor. It's fixed! Thanks to letsgetthisdone for the tip!
The disturbing part: My mechanic spent 10 hours and eventually advised me to take it elsewhere. The 'elsewhere' mechanic who supposedly has experience and equipment wanted...
Park switch delivered today and installed in 30 minutes (I didn't feel the need to remove the whole shifter assembly). "P" now lights up and gauge cluster lights shut off as they should. Parked for the night. Let's see what the morning brings.
