2017 Super Crew, 29,800 miles.
I’ve searched the posts and didn’t find anything on point.
Driving down the highway Sunday afternoon, I started hearing a thump from the passenger side front area. Sounded just like I had a large bolt stuck in my tire. Got home and checked the tire and found nothing but a few more chucks missing from Saturday’s playtime. No loose parts or anything that looks like it is “flapping”.
I then checked the lug nuts, thinking they came loose. Nope.
Here’s the weird part. Starts light thumping about 28-30 MPH, and increases frequency and volume with speed. As I slow down, it completely disappears when I drop below 20 MPH. Went to some bumps and nothing about the sound or frequency of thumping changes with the bump.
Appreciate any ideas. Still under warranty, so looks like I’ll be scheduling a service appointment.
