Alright- so the Jack Morris agent that sold me the OEM Ford glass for the appointment today was either ignorant or dishonest- can’t say which, but- I was incredibly clear and repetitive that I wanted Ford branded, Ford labeled, OEM “SoundScreen” glass. She quoted me specifically for Ford OEM...
I called this afternoon. Insurance is full deductible on glass (TN) and will not pay for OEM. - I asked, the agent said it was not approved.
4 cars (2 teen drivers) and 2 boats on the account. GEICO is losing a heck of a lot more than the cost of 1 windshield. We will be leaving GEICO post...
** update- there was indeed a tiny nick in the middle of the crack/run- so the crack went 2 directions from the nick.
FYI: Safelite OEM Ford glass & recalibration - 8 days from now- $1,340
I was stopped at the end of my driveway- a paved, flat surface. I heard a sound like “shifting” and the window cracked.
Has anyone else had this happen? The surface is smooth and free of impact signs anywhere near the crack/run.
Acted like a stress crack.

Is that to say that seeing a constant voltage as low as 12.0 at times ... for a long time is normal?
I don't believe I like BMS. I see anywhere from 14.5 to 13.5 to 12.0 ... aaaand at night, my blinker doesn't blink in a straight pattern.
Brand new Interstate H7 (OEM spec) that was charged...
**Update: It did not work. I saw some evidence of soap residue... ended up doing a full wash and dry of both vehicles. hahahahaa... StormWash is not a thing... noted.
I washed it... in a thunderstorm. While not my safest endeavor ever,... not having to dry the dang thing was AMAZING!
I actually washed my truck and my son's car... underbody wash, spray down, foam cannon, heavy spray/rinse until I couldn't see suds... then let the rain have 'em.
We'll see...
@MurderedOutSVT - copy that. I thought it was probably tongue in cheek. Please excuse the curt response.
... I did want to make it clear to anyone who was thinking about coming up that it is in all of our best interest that we all keep the group actions courteous. A large gathering of one...
Blue font? sure - if you want to P*ss off the right people so the counties find a way to make parts of the Dirt Devil go bye-bye.
For those that aren't local: These are public roads... This is not an OHV, these are not public lands with access roads. These are narrow, 1.5 lanes wide...
Wait. JUNE 8th? hahahahahaa... dang. Disregard my Momma message above this. I'll try to get out from under work and have more brain cells available.
carry on.
I am crushed with a deadline, so I will be absent. Thanks for the invite!!
**** and WATCH OUT on that "parallel" in-the-creek run with all the rain we are supposed to have. Honestly, maybe all the creek crossings.
That one run through the creek was just under my door the last time I ran...
2020 - in 4A, mine pulls hard to the left under acceleration. I stopped by and chatted with an SA at my dealer. He said that it is possible that one of the hubs is not engaging up front. When I say it pulls hard... if I "get on it", it is almost impossible to keep it in the lane. ... so... 4A...
Oil and Filter change today. Then I spent a few minutes updating the MX records in my book and in the Ford App. dang. Rear diff cover, rear diff fluid, transfer case fluid, new battery, new air filter and cabin air filter, 2 new wheels, 2 oil changes. I've been busy since September...
Threadvival: Are Valvoline ULV and Mercon ULV compatible … as in a pan drop, filter change, and fill with Valvoline… being a good mix… or should I stick with Mercon ULV only?
Washed it... for the first time in 3 months! hahaha... dang. I also cleaned around the sunroof opening, sunroof seals, and applied Krytox lube to it all. Now I can open my sunroof for the spring season without (much) fear.
I have a small "stupid" dent that I need to PDR... but that is for...
I want to love them, but I am finishing up 3 days of snow driving on K02s... grip like mad, lightweight, and they last a good while. The first hour or 2 when it rains (oils, dirt) is the one area where I would say K02s are weak, but... the AT4W... 76lbs for a C rated is too heavy for me...
