Update, called the dealer and it is missing. Check your for your ford performance plate on the step area driver side. On the bright side I did get free carbon fiber trim
checked mine on a new '24 and had to push in all my fuses, nothing alarmed but indeed were all not seated.
I picked my ‘24 up and it does have a metallic flake in it, interesting they chose that kind of paint. The back is way better vs the gray and that goes for interior as well.
Maybe I just got lucky but I ordered on 1/12/24 and dealer text me with a pick on march 15 saying it’s arrived. Picking up in a few weeks when in town.
looks like the leather and the trim is a deeper black then previous years where it had a grey tint it. Can you confirm it's a deeper black or is that just the light?
I placed my order on 1/12/24 and dealer just confirmed this morning it’s arrived. That a quick turnaround. Dealer had placed the order as special order priority 4. Didn’t think anything of it until I now see how quick it gets built with that code.
I placed an order in January with a dealer and never got any information from ford on status. Dealer calls today and says my truck is showing shipped to dealer. What is happening?!
I did mine, got 2 kits from chemical guys. Took delivery, drove it straight home and washed it, maybe an hour of clay bar and then about 3 hrs to ceramic it. Turned out great. Total cost $400
I’m seeing some major recalls for 2023 F150 is anyone with a raptor getting these recalls? Multiple ones showing the truck could roll away or stop driving. Sounds like a major problem and a big safety risk.
I was about to say yes that particular headlamp has vents in it so that will happen. I’ve seen it on other raptors. Long term vents are good, it keeps condensation from getting trapped.
One of my vehicles currently is a Acura MDX ‘22 and first year I hit the button for the moonroof screen and it completely fell off the track and then snapped as the motor kept running. They had to replace the entire screen and tracking. It wasn’t a big deal to me, my focus is on the engine...
I remember my wife’s Subaru ascent had a recall that the engine could stop running while going down the highway and when she took it in the dealer said it would be 3 mo the before they could get the tool to even correct the problem. That was scary.
I inquired about placing an order with a dealer a few weeks ago and they just said they recorded a build date of march 3 so it seems like the demand is not there this year. Dealers just placing orders and already getting build dates is a sign they are not behind in production.
Yeah there’s something to the 4Runner being one of the most basic/simple vehicles with no change in over a decade that screams reliability. I like suvs but that is too small for what I need
That’s what I was thinking. I use to get company cars and have had everything from Subaru to Chevy they all had recalls some serious. Ford seems to have good bones just some electrical issues from time to time. From what I’ve heard the 10sp shared across ford and GM is really solid. I think...
