    Led projector wiring question

I'll answer my own. I did not realize that the truck in stock form was halogen which would mean noor less voltage to the low beam wire when the high beam is engaged. I ended up just running a relay and it works great.

    Led projector wiring question

I have a 2010 and the previous owner had hid's installed which the ballasts were failing and I removed. I installed the projectors that have the led chip built in. I'm sorry I don't know the official name of that style, bi-led? Anyways the oem headlamp socket is a 3 wire. So when I check for...

how to Install shrader valve in stock fox rear shocks

I just had one explode barely missing my head. Shops covered in oil. I thought I had it depressurized. Heard it release and everything. Even put the needle in double checking but it fooled me. These shocks don't last long enough for all this hassle. Btw when they do explode it's seriously like a...

    Upper control arms

Thank you for the info. Do you know if there is a sleeve or housing around the uni-ball that would need replaced also? I'm assuming these press in just like regular ball joints correct?

    Upper control arms

2010 6.2 150,000 miles 2nd owner Does anyone recognize this upper control arm? I'm trying to figure out the manufacturer. I know the lower control arms are stock but I cannot find any markings on the uppers. I'm assuming these were installed by the previous owner along with other suspension...

    2010 ignition coil issue

I'm sorry I did replace the plugs and wires 40,000 miles ago when I first got the truck. Truck has 140,000 mi now. Original coils are still on the truck. I'm assuming 140,000 mi is a lot for a set of coils and I have no idea how it was driven before I purchased it but the body is flawless I have...

    2010 ignition coil issue

So I was changing out spark plugs and coil boots after about 40,000 miles and the plugs had normal wear. What concerns me is while I was changing out the boots and coil wire a few of the resistor "pellets" would not drop out of the coil. Some were corroded in and after further research some of...

    Bump stop issue

So I'm not familiar with forum rules. Do I need to start a new thread for different topic questions or does it matter?

    Bump stop issue

Here is a picture of the mount/cross member. I'm thinking the previous owner got a package deal with them together.

Okay so the shaft is 1 3/4 wide. I measured the shaft that is exposed for the amount of travel and it measures 2 1/2 inches. The bump stop total width is 2 1/2 inches.

Now that looks correct. On mine I think the cross member/sleeve that holds the stops is too low like you said.

Just lowered the psi today to 100. Haven't driven it hard enough to find out but I'm sure it'll be better.

    Bump stop issue

The ones I have on there are Fox 2.5 bump stops.they make two different versions I believe I have the 4-in. I think if I swap them out with their other version which is 2 and 1/2-in that gives me a couple inches more rear suspension travel before it hits the stop.

What year is yours? And did you need a pedal commander? That's the only thing I didn't like when I got mine was it had a sluggish pedal badly. Even with a tuner it helped some but the pedal commander woke it up the way it should be.

    Bump stop issue

That very thing has not left my mind for awhile now. Although I'm happy with the power this truck delivers even with high miles what would it be like supercharged? ProChargers are made in about 30 miles from me but your talking 8000$ minimum. But you're also talking 600+ horsepower. Be worth...

I know you guys have heard it a million times and I've only had it a year but it is absolutely the best vehicle I've ever owned. With that being said all I've ever owned is f-150s.

Also I imagine if the shocks were extended like I was nearly airborne they would have more reaction time to slow the suspension down travel. I just don't think that two and a half to three inch air gap is enough for them to really catch it from ride height.

    Bump stop issue

I'm probably going to leave it as is for now because it does not hit the stops enough to drive me bananas. Like I said it has to be a good size bump and I have to be at a decent rate of speed (35ish) I'm sure they are doing what they were designed to do. Now potholes and your normal everyday...

Gotchya that makes sense. I'm really not sure what version is installed on it. Have not looked for markings but it's rusty down there I doubt if it's marked anyways.

So the aftermarket leaf springs, which there are more leafs, are softer than the stock springs?
