I installed +2 Deavers with the RPG shackles and pretty sure they don't have a zerk on them, but will double-check when I get home. I hope they do because they are probably due for some grease, noticing some noises back there since our temperatures have gotten colder here in South Dakota.

Glad you found it also! I will have my guys double check that on my truck. Will also look up a thread on here to see if anyone has put 3.0's on a Gen1 Scab and how they perform. The guys on this forum have really good information. I learn so much with every log in! :)

Maybe "coachhomer" is on to something. I have replaced everything in my front end with new OEM, including Deavers & RPG Shackles in the rear and even new OEM tires. And I still get the short sharp clunks on the smaller bumps in the road. I am pretty convinced it is still in the OEM 2.5 shocks...

I have a 2013 Scab and only do highway driving. I’ve been seeing a lot of good reports on the 3.0 but I thought it took some modifying to make the fronts a replacement for the stock 2.5. Would like to get a smoother ride over the stock shocks.

That sounds like a great idea, especially if it improved the clunking. But I thought it took some serious customizing to make the 3.0's work on our 2013 trucks? I also inquired about the Icons but was told that they had noise issues also....but sound like one of the guys on this thread had good...

I have a 2013 Scab and curious if this will work on my truck, or if there is even any space behind there for maybe some tow straps, jumper cables, etc. so I don't have to keep all that stuff under the seat. Would like to add a sub which would pretty much keep me from having anything under the seat.

CoronaRaptor mentioned a battery blanket, so curious if that was the black foam-type material that came out in pieces that was wrapped around the battery. If so, I will be replacing that battery and should probably replace that blanket also???

Hi - I have a stock exhaust system on my 2013 Supercab and the tips are pretty beat up from the previous owner. I wanted to replace them with either a pretty cool black chrome or black powder coated tips but wasn't sure about the size or length for a direct replacement. I appreciate your help!
