I don’t know if it’s just my truck but the transmission tuning has to be different in 24’s. This transmission is so smooth compared to my other Gen 3’s
It’s probably still learning. My 23 felt A LOT better than my 2020, now it feels almost exactly the same. Not sure how your other gen3s felt driving off the lot though.

The R uses a different tcm tune. Maybe they revised it for all 24 trucks now.

Man..Ford has not fixed the 360 camera with the black outlining around the truck yet?? fail..

HUD looks cool and the shift points you can set... I am still a bit on the fence of the new cluster look.. I like the 21-23 cluster better still (looks wise).

thanks for the feed back OP. Congrats!

No but it sounds better than the gen2. The gen2 stereo was second worse only to the JBL in the 1794 Tundra I had. Ive had 90s economy car stereos give that Tundra stereo a run for its money.

You never owned an old school F150 Lightning I take it... now THAT was a poor stereo... And a great truck.

Here's another initial thought on this truck, after coming from a 2018 Raptor.

Sport mode is 1,000 times better. I very rarely used Sport mode in the 2018, the shifts and holding of gears was clumsy and harsh. Sport mode in this new truck is amazing, so strong, so smooth, made me giggle and say "No f'ing way" out loud to myself.
I had the same exact feeling…super happy that I have a usable sport mode unlike the one I had for 200,000 miles with my 2018.
