My door sensors work just fine on my 2024. I believe you have to slide your hand on the inside of the handle (with key fob on your person) and should unlock. I know sometimes when you just grab the handle and try to open the door it may not work.
Yeah, I'm totally ok with personal preference and doing what anyone feels is best for your investment. I don't think industry standard is 5k anymore because ford doesn't state a specific mileage in the manual. I've seen many make statements on when it should be changed but it's not followed...
Is this recommendation just your personal preference/feel good, put the mind at ease preventative approach or do you access to some data that I haven't seen yet regarding 2024 ecoboosts? I ask because I would truly like to know if this recommendation is from a Ford engineer or another verified...
Yeah, I totally get big business and revenue/profit...good ole "cost per minute haha!" Not sure why many, not all, big corporations don't truly understand/covet the customer experience more. I guess they won't stop cutting corners until we quit buying these gat damn Raptors which won't happen...
I've never been in an automotive factory but it would be nice to know how it all works when it comes to quality control. For instance, how long does a quality control person on the production line have to review all checklists at completion of assembly? Is every assembled vehicle quality...
^^This was the first thing I noticed coming from my 19. Overall, quality has been good. I do have the fender flare gap on the driver's side front. Wouldn't really bother me but I off-road a lot and can see dirt/mud getting packed in there and not easily cleaned/removed. Gonna try and see if...
If it was me I'd definitely troubleshoot that first to determine if it's the gauge itself or you're if you are losing actual power. I'd also callout since the truck is new and being broke in and the pcm/computer is adjusting/learning to your climate/elevation/etc which it would adjust boost, etc...
You mention boost and the gauge registering lower boost then when you drove it off the lot but you don't mention loss of power/acceleration...is this the case as well? I or I'm sure others way more knowledgable don't want to assume both unless it that is the case.
I see what you're saying about the mount but it sits super flush and blends right into the dash. No drilling in dash and easily removed with zero damage (just removed mine). I went with the Scosche Magic Mount iPad strength and shizz never moved once in all my off-roading. They make a super...
Not sure why you think the ProClip is obnoxious but it's rock solid whether you use there cradle option or the magnetic. I used both but the magnetic I preferred no doubt!
What a weird post from an adult who actually had enough money/credit to purchase a Raptor. Maybe a spinoff of the Raptor forum should be an 888 hotline to talk Raptor owners off a ledge because they purchased a very expensive and extremely capable truck they can't use to its full capability...
